Senior Graphic Designer

Client is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to support their Marketing efforts. The designer is responsible for working with the Marketing team to design and produce marketing collateral in both print and digital formats. This professional will be responsible for creating brochures, event materials, white papers, campaigns, web site digital assets and email communications. Strong project management ability, conceptual skills in both print and digital executions and graphic design/production capabilities are required for this role. Must have exceptional attention to detail and follow through as well as the ability to concurrently execute on multiple initiatives. Also required is expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite. Proven ability to contribute creative design content and sample portfolio required.

-Establish integrated design directions in support of the corporate voice and culture. Strategically brainstorm concepts and creatively generate content.
-Responsible for process from concept, through production, to final release. Must artistically represent our brand and style for all projects.
-Translate design concepts into working prototypes and optimize to maximize the user experience.
-Work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external constituents to coordinate the timely processing of projects.
-Identify and work with external vendors to make sure the print production process is satisfactory and within budget constraints.
-Innovate improvements in departmental procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
-Perform additional team-related functions.
-Edit fact sheets and create white papers in InDesign; update charts and graphs using Illustrator.
-Proficiently use Microsoft Office products: edit PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials and presentation books, create charts and exhibits using Excel and create quarterly letters in Word.

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
-Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing graphic design projects and programs in a high demand, fast-paced environment
-Strong conceptual thinking, with an ability to drive creative solutions from start to finish
-Strong visual and typography skills
-Thorough knowledge in photographic and illustrative processes and production methods for print and electronic media
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects to meet deadlines while also maintaining flexibility to change focus quickly as priorities shift
-Solid analytical skills with an ability to distill and enter financial data and information that depicts the findings in a clear, readable and digestible format
-Proofreading and quality control skills focused on accuracy of typing, layout and format consistency
-A strong creative portfolio that demonstrates conceptual thinking, strong graphic design, layout and typographic skills
-Enthusiastic, open-minded and approachable
-Aptitude for learning and using new software
-Interest in the asset management business
-Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Solid understanding of IA/UI/UX interface design
-Fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript a plus
