Senior Graphic Designer

Our client is looking to hire a Sr. Graphic Designer with 5-8+ years of proven experience, preferably with diverse samples of advertising /marketing projects created, concept through completion, in the healthcare/financial or other highly regulated industry. This is a 1+ year contract job opportunity with the potential for permanent hire. This individual should have extensive and demonstrated experience in graphic design disciplines, layout, color, and typography. You will also need to be an innovative thinker with business acumen, design leadership and the ability to closely collaborate with peers and business partners. This includes presenting concepts to internal/external clients. In addition, you will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that creative projects meet strategic business objectives and deadlines. This Sr. Designer must also make sure that creative is on-brand, adheres to style guidelines, and meets overall creative quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Concepting and executing marketing and advertising materials for company initiatives.
• Day-to-day managing and tracking of creative projects from concept through completion.
• Partnering with Account Services to establish timelines and communicate project status.
• Presenting to creative management and business partners.
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with external and internal partners.

Qualifications
• Extensive knowledge, skill and proven experience in graphic design disciplines including layout, color and typography.
• Intellectual design approach, ability to translate strategy and business needs into appropriate graphic solutions
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Cloud): InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills – can clearly communicate design decisions and conceptual themes with supporting logic based on the strategic goals. Ability to “sell” a concept.
• Team player – ability to work with cross-functional teams, as well as acting as a peer leader.
• Ability to multi task, prioritize & respond quickly and positively to changing demands.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
• Ability/desire to mentor and develop junior designers.
