Senior Graphic Designer

Currently seeking a talented Senior Designer who is ready to work in all aspects of print and online design. Candidate must have at least 7-10 years of experience within advertising, branding, direct marketing, retail or editorial ~with a highly developed eye for detail and a passion for design. Experience within both agency and client side is a plus. Would interface well with merchants, product development, web team, art directors, copywriters, project managers, production staff, CEO and CCO.


In collaboration with the Creative Director and design team, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Establish consistent creative direction - design for the brand, across multiple platforms and media
-Develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance the brand strategy
-Manage multiple projects from concept through completion. Such as developing concepts for print and online projects such as brand identity, catalog design, marketing and PR collateral
-Monitor deadlines and budgets closely, and take corrective action as needed to achieve all targets
-Supervise and inspire a fluid and evolving creative team; manage both internal and external team members
-Provide quality control over concepts and projects
-Responsibilities also include print production, retouching management, maintaining archives

Candidates must possess the following:
-Excellent proficiency in Adobe CS, print production (prepress basic knowledge, Mac OSX, and Microsoft Office)
-Self sufficiency to proceed with projects proactively
-The desire to be part of a team, ability to give and accept direction (critique and to objectively contribute to larger group discussions)
- Flexibility to embrace change enthusiastically
