Senior Graphic Designer

An iconic retail brand has been growing on a global scale, which has resulted in a newly created position for a Senior Graphic Designer to join the highly collaborative, creative team.

We are currently looking for a visionary Senior Designer with the ambition to deliver new and engaging creative solutions across a number of platforms for a wide range of customers. This is a hugely exciting position that will play a key role in the delivery of design solutions to a business that has seen great success in recent years. You will play an integral role in the creative team and have involvement in each step of the creative process from concept through to delivery.

Day to day

• Collaborating with various partners to deliver outstanding creative solutions that are on brand, meet brand strategy and surpass expectations.

• Ensure the creative vision and direction of the brand is upheld. To be a creative problem solver with the passion to lead and the desire to explore.

• Designing across print collateral and campaigns, retail POS, environmental graphics, packaging and digital media

• You will have a thorough understanding of brand DNA and play the role of brand custodian

• Deliver creative campaigns, marketing collateral and internal communications

• Offer creative solutions consistent with relevant market research and a thorough understanding of the fashion retail industry.

• Interpret briefs, develop visionary creative and present concepts to brand team members and across the wider business

Experience Required

• Experience designing print collateral and campaigns, retail POS, environmental graphics, packaging and digital media

• Experience delivering resourceful and cost effective creative solutions in a fashion retail environment preferred although not essential

• An understanding of print production and experience producing print ready artwork

• Experience designing for web and digital media, would be beneficial

• Experience presenting concepts and ideas

• A high level of proficiency in Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, In design, and Illustrator

• Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff

• Ability to question the brief, collaborate and explore beyond expected brand guidelines

• Knowledge of fashion and creative industry trends

• A keen eye for detail, from creative development to finished art

• Excellent team player with the ability to multitask and to work under pressure
