Senior E-commerce Research Analyst

Our client is looking for a Senior E-commerce Research Analyst who can contribute to the success of their company Key Initiatives as it relates to our e-commerce business. This person will play a key role in conducting evaluations of data trends and provide operational reporting, forecasting, and recommendations to guide the direction and success of e-commerce. Expertise in analytics and tools such as Adobe Analytics, deep technical skills, exceptional written and verbal skills, and demonstrated organizational effectiveness skills are key requirements in fulfilling the duties of this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, monitor, analyze, and interpret large data sets to measure KPIs across various e-commerce platforms including desktop, mobile, mobile apps, and kiosks.
• Generate and maintain regular scorecards and dashboards gathering various data points including product performance, marketing effectiveness, purchase paths, traffic flows, geographical market, and customer segmentation.
• Identify and monitor customer behavior patterns and distill the information into conclusions with relevant, actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to determine data and reporting requirements for new features.
• Perform various ad-hoc analysis to root cause issues and understand key business drivers.
• Streamline management reports and processes to produce documents that identify actionable differences across our product lines and business units.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing and merchandising promotions.
• Create, manage and maintain documentation and repositories for analytical information, training documentation, implementation documents and critical internal process documents.
• Drive new tagging implementations and ensure data integrity validation testing in new releases.
• Communicate and present data, insights, and recommendations to all levels of the company, clearly and concisely.
• Pull data from many sources into centralized dashboards for easy understanding (Tableau)
• Develop baselines and forecasting models by product and customer segment.
• Keep up with emerging technology to continuously improve reporting processes and the usability and efficiency of reporting.
• Ensure our analytic tools meet internal customers' needs while satisfying scalability, reliability and other performance requirements.
• Evangelize throughout the company the power and value using data for various business initiatives and their contribution to the strategic goals of the organization.
• Actively train, lead and mentor other analysts in best practices and provide continuous support as systems and technologies evolve.
• Take a lead role in Key Initiatives and vital analysis projects.
• Other duties as assigned
