Senior Digital Marketing Program Manager - Email/Mobile growth

A strategic marketing team at a F100 financial services company is looking for a rock star a senior digital marketing program manager to establish and run a marketing program focused on email / mobile growth, reaching and engaging customers through these digital channels. This is an onsite position in downtown SF and a long term contract with potential to convert to full time employment.

This strategic role will develop and lead a formal program that defines how to grow email/mobile penetration, the ability to market to customers via email and a thoughtful marketing strategy that supports these goals. Additionally, this role will participate on an enterprise-wide program focused on email/mobile growth across the company; understand critical development projects that impact Marketing’s plans and opportunities; and participate on work streams to support our enterprise-wide goals regarding this topic.


Responsibilities include:
- Define and lead the email/mobile expansion program and lead a cross-functional team across marketing to make progress against strategic objectives
- Program manage all aspects of marketing’s email/mobile effort
- Provide strategic collaboration on all marketing plans with senior marketing partners
- Ensure detailed are crafted so Marketing is positioned to successfully launch all plans that drive email/mobile growth and increased customer reach
- Identify capabilities that are needed to support email/mobile growth goals; initiate on behalf of marketing as marketing sponsor, unless sponsorship is otherwise defined
- Track, optimize and refine in order to maximize progress at program/portfolio level

- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and channels and ability to craft a compelling marketing strategy that is grounded in quantifiable outcomes
- Ability to manage effectively within a matrix organization




Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- 10+ years complex program and project management experience
- 8+ marketing strategy experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively lead strategic work across cross-functional teams

Other Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of business analysis experience
- Experience creating effective program teams by leveraging resources across a complex organization
- Experience working closely with Marketing executives and other senior leaders across a complex enterprise
- Project Management Professional Certification
