Senior Digital Designer-FULL TIME

Aquent’s Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a full-time Senior Digital Designer responsible for developing innovative, technologically-advanced web sites and interactive media for website and affiliated sites. This position will work with many teams, including customer experience, information systems and marketing to deliver an aesthetically superior and technically enhanced branding message.

Primary responsibilities are to lead the building of digital media for a Fortune 500 retail company. This position will strive to make continuous improvement of digital design and technology. Ideal candidate will have a leader-like vision to drive innovation across all digital spaces within the company, and an ONLINE DESIGN PORTFOLIO showcasing high-end design (including website design).

Specifics include:
• Collaborate with website business and technical teams to conceive, design and build cross-platform media for websites, e-mail marketing campaigns and other online vehicles.
• Leads and verifies projects to ensure they are tracked and documented to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Interacts and collaborates with external Marketing agencies to ensure these campaigns work correctly within the website architecture and software.
• Coordinates with other departments (including Advertising) to ensure consistent brand presentation across all marketing mediums for company and website.
• Coordinates with merchant, technical and operations teams to create, design and define code enhancements for improved productivity.
• Partners with customer experience/usability team to ensure all site enhancements adhere to strict usability guidelines and user-centric best practices.
• Develops storyboards and prototypes for technological site enhancements, new site development related to elevating the company’s website brand and shopping experiences.
• Special focus to concept, design and build media for paid media, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+ and other online channels as assigned, in collaboration with key business and strategy teams.
• Leads and verifies project communication strategy and integrity, creative QA and deliveries in collaboration with additional designers.
• Coordinates with multiple internal stakeholders and program leads to ensure consistent brand and program presentation across all marketing mediums.
