For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior Digital Data Analyst.

Client Background:

They are heavily investing in their digital team at the moment, moving away from them being just used by companies internally to a seamless customer experience for everyone. They are fast moving and digital alone has already increased their revenue by 30%.

Purpose of the department you'll a part of:

- Grow the number of SME customers
- Accelerate revenues through e-commerce channels
- Increase channel share of digital sales
- Improve the online customer satisfaction

Purpose of the job:

You will work from the global Ecom digital data team with other best in class subject matter experts in the fields of Data science, Engineering, Analytics and Modelling. It’s your goal to bring KPI’s to life with visual insight and explanatory narrative to drive understanding, testing, change and optimisation. Development backlogs are groomed with your fact based recommendations as goes for marketing plans and you are always on the look out to improve data collection based on business needs.

Key activities:

- Work with other ecommerce teams like Content, Product development and Marketing ensuring their thirst for insight is sequenced through advice and recommendation
- Own and drive ecommerce performance analysis you feel comfortable defending on C-level for executive decision making
- Build and manage globally aligned KPI dashboards that evolve with the business
- Identify, visualise and present fact based action points to steer ecom efforts
- Be open to provide ad hoc, custom insights in a fast paced setting
- Constructively participate in SRUM based development delivery where analytics input shapes the priority and proves the outcomes
- Collaborate with the Conversion optimisation team by providing fact based opportunity for improvements and AB testing
- Team up with your direct data expert colleagues to supplement skill sets, as well as share and learn new treats
- Seek to constantly and proactively spot potential upgrades to the scope and depth of data collection and management based on experiences, business demand, or new developments.

Preferred experience and knowledge:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field that emphasizes internet technology, coding and/or analytics (IT, mathematics, statistics, computer science, business intelligence)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in eCommerce / Digital Marketing / Web analytics / Business intelligence / Conversion Optimization environment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role focusing on insights/consulting/optimization
- Excellent consulting skills, ability to engage with business and leadership and provide strategic, tactical and operational insights based recommendations
- You are comfortable with working in an international or multi-level marketing business that banks on various operational models from waterfall to SCRUM
- Understands and can calculate (e)retail math and ecommerce key performance indicators
- Hands on experience with a wide range of analytics, modelling, data, testing, visualisation, reporting and optimisation tools
- A passion for (proactively) delivering data-based recommendations for quantifiable improvements in business results and consumer satisfaction.
- You have an avid focus on best practices and key technical solutions across e-commerce
- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment and learn new solutions & approaches
- Ability to multi-task whilst retaining quality across projects
- Self-starter, capable of planning and running projects independently
- Great communication skills and team working capacity
- Understanding of the complexities of e-commerce systems and processes, with a focus on the impact of change and dependencies
