Senior Digital Analyst

Vitamin T has an exciting contract to hire opportunity at one of Seattle's most respected and successful digital agencies. The senior digital analyst will be able to fluidly combine digital analytics, reporting, and business insights to discover consumer experience drivers and strategic optimization efforts. In this role, the analyst will engage in the design, organization, analysis, and distribution of digital marketing data in order to track key performance indicators, success metrics, and opportunities for optimization. The analyst will also be expected to distill and present insights based on data to agency team members and to our clients.

Essential Functions

Work with our teams and clients to understand their goals, identify required data sources, troubleshoot any data-related integration issues and recommend and/or instrument the necessary analytics platforms.
Design and maintain reports and dashboards that measure the performance of digital campaigns and/or tactics.
Perform ad hoc analysis on trends and variances while assisting strategy, creative, and account teams on the interpretation of the data.
Collaborate with our team members, including strategic planners, researchers, media strategists, and user experience strategists, to identify key insights suggested by data analytics.
Collaborate with our media team to propose, monitor, and implement necessary analytic frameworks to track performance.
Collaborate with our technology team to identify relevant sources of analytics data and troubleshoot any potential issues.
Recommend any data modeling approaches, tools, and visualizations designed to address our clients’ needs for analytics and reporting.
Review, support, and recommend improvements to existing analysis procedures and methods.


Job Skills

Superior quantitative and analytical capabilities with a diverse array of analytical tools and methodologies to drive actionable business recommendations
Deep analytics tool knowledge that includes Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Webtrends, Coremetrics, and other platforms as needed
Experience integrating and analyzing diverse data sets, including but not limited to email, Salesforce.com, marketing automation, social, search, media data, etc.
Experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reports for a variety of stakeholders utilizing Excel and Tableau
Expert proficiency with Tableau and Excel
SQL experience desired
Advanced understanding of online conversion techniques, conversion funnels, user paths, and A/B and multivariate testing
JavaScript, technical implementation, and QA experience preferred
Excellent customer, e-commerce, marketing, and web analytics experience across industries
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Productivity management skills for managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines


Experience and Education

At least five years’ experience working in digital web analytics
Digital agency experience strongly preferred
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
