You are an exceptionally talented senior designer/art director with a passion for traditional and digital design, a well-rounded background in creative and conceptual solutions, and excited about the opportunity to help innovate for our leading retail company.
As Senior Designer, you will be initiating, creating, executing designs to support traditional and digital marketing campaigns. You are confident in developing graphics, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates and layouts and ensuring that the brand is represented consistently across multiple applications and experiences
. A plus if you have a background in email design. Additional responsibilities may include presenting to leaders, collaborating with copy partners, inspiring junior designers, selecting stock imagery, and creating/updating style guidelines.
This position is responsible for the creative execution and development of materials including (but not limited to): store signage, direct mail, advertising, packaging, and circular. The Senior Designer must have an advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and must have a solid background in design. The designer additionally must have demonstrated experience in graphic design disciplines, including an understanding of typography, color, layout and best practices for the web. She/he must be self-motivated, self managed and a good communicator and collaborator.
Work closely with the Creative Manager on various design projects.
Provide design direction and ensure that print projects are proceeding accordingly and meet creative and client expectations.
Lead the design team and work with colleagues and project business owners to design integrated campaign components for marketing, store brands, promotions and merchandising.
Support creative and marketing strategies, and ensure projects meet business and revenue goals.
Present viable, on brand design concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver all assets optimized, and production ready, ensuring that brand and style guidelines and overall site quality is met.
Organize and manage days to day projects.
Develop and maintain partnerships with internal partners.
