Senior Designer

Our client is looking for people passionate about creating online experiences to engage the imagination while empowering the user. Combining their talent, creativity, and knowledge of the latest technologies, our designers work closely with a creative team to create intuitive interfaces, enable effective interactions and build experiences that are compelling, beautiful, and that ultimately drive ROI.

What You'll Do:

Work with User Experience Architects, Strategists, and Developers to develop and iterate visual design directions for a variety of digital channels including web, mobile/device, etc.
Understand and leverage the latest technologies to create intuitive user interactions.
Design new and creative approaches around data visualization and present information to facilitate user understanding while being aesthetically beautiful.
Present design concepts to clients in a professional and logical manner.
Articulate and support design decisions based on the goals of the project, the established design strategy, and knowledge of design theory.
Produce design artifacts for site development.
Work with team members to develop experience style guides, including sustainable and maintainable visual design languages and systems, interaction patterns.

Your Experience:

You'll need a current and review-ready portfolio that sings, telling the story of your concepting skills, your wicked-hot design skills, and passion for digital experience creation. Above all else, THIS will get you an interview. Other things we'll look for include:

Experience in creating visual design for Websites and Web applications. Must demonstrate a talent for and a commitment to design excellence.
Experience in being part of a collaborative design environment and a desire to work as part of a team.
Strong interaction design, motion graphic and cinematic animation skills. Experience in designing Web 2.0/Rich Internet Applications.
Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to present and support creative concepts in a professional and engaging manner.
Ability to act as a creative thought leader and demonstrate a passion for the discipline.
Must be committed to constantly improving one’s skills and staying current with developments and trends in the industry, as well as sharing this knowledge with others.
The ambition to create breakthrough design that is second to none, while having respect for deadlines and promises made.
Professional-level design software proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), including Flash.
