Senior Designer

My client is a boutique investment management company who is looking for a Design Manager to join their team. They are nimble and ambitious, with a strong growth profile in the financial services sector specialising in property funds and investment bonds. Following a transformational period of growth, they are looking to expand their team with a best-in-class brand and design manager. That’s where you come in! You’ll be responsible for ensuring a positive and consistent representation of my clients brand experience, bringing it to life through your digital and graphic design skills. You will work across both traditional and new media, from templated graphic design to the latest trends in digital and web design. You will be a natural creative, with a strong sense of aesthetics and a love for great design. You work well in a high-paced environment, with good prioritisation, stakeholder and supplier management skills. Whilst not essential, experience in working in the property and financial services industry is highly desirable. 


▪ Bachelor’s degree in design or related field required

▪ Post-graduate studies in related discipline/s desirable

▪ Ongoing training and professional development in web and digital design highly desirable

Experience and Capability Experience & knowledge:

▪ 6+ years’ experience in graphic and digital design and brand management

▪ A natural creative, with a strong sense of aesthetics and a love for great design

▪ Design experience in financial services and property industries highly desirable Capabilities:

▪ A digital and graphic design all-rounder with demonstrated experience and a strong understanding of emerging trends and best practice across:

• Web design (UI/UX, responsive design, html, CSS)

• Presentation design, including motion graphics

• Infographic, animation and video production • Advertising and campaign assets (digital and print)

• Desktop publishing (e.g. annual reports, PDSs, brochures)

• Wide format design, e.g. building signage, Spyder wall/conference banners

• Merchandise and promotional items

▪ Demonstrated experience in brand management, in particular brand architecture and visual identity

▪ Studio and workflow management

▪ Management of photography assets

▪ Strong stakeholder and supplier management

▪ Budget management

▪ An eye for detail, with sound oral and written communication skills

▪ Ability to effectively manage own time, with excellent planning and administrative abilities

▪ A self-starter, proactive in identifying opportunities and driving innovation and ideas Software skills:

▪ Solid knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite

▪ Proficient with digital design tools (e.g. html, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and other digital design languages)

▪ Proficient with website platforms (in particular WordPress)

▪ Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, in particular template development

▪ Animation and video production software

▪ Ability to work on Mac and PC
