Senior Designer -Maternity Leave

Our client is one of the world's largest companies who provide insurance and benefits. They are recruiting for a senior graphic designer with a creative portfolio of high quality, clean print work and experience of digital to work across a variety of projects and act as a brand guardian within a close-knit team. This is a 9-12 month contract to cover someone whilst they are on maternity leave. The company is based in Aldgate, London - salary £35-40K.

This is a great opportunity for a versatile and self-starting designer to work on a large and varied range of predominantly print based creative work that will include; branding and guidelines, high quality marketing materials, corporate communications both internal and external, event graphics, html emails and bespoke creative projects.

The role sits within the in-house marketing team, reporting to the Head of UK Marketing, to implement all creative solutions, ensuring that work is produced in line with briefs and brand.

Experience and Attributions:
• At least 3 years design and print experience within the financial industry
• Confident and outgoing
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Multi-tasking skills
• Able to work under pressure
• Be proactive and design driven

Main responsibilities:
• Own the brand across all mediums
• Maintain a consistent look and feel across all applications
• Oversee design and production of all marketing materials

Software Knowledge:
• InDesign (Advanced Level)
• Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 and 6 (Advanced Level)
• Photoshop (Advanced Level)
• Illustrator (Advanced Level)
• Powerpoint (Intermediate Level)
• Word (Intermediate Level)
