Our client are an on-demand transportation application that deliver a quality service in countries around the world. With offices in Central London, our client are looking for a Senior Designer / Art Director to join the team and work closely with other creative teams around to the world to focus on better servicing the UK market with creative and technical solutions.
Our client are looking for a Senior Designer / Art Director to join them as the main creative point of contact in London, focussing on servicing the UK market with creative solutions. Day to day working will involve liaising with the head office abroad to come up with suitable solutions tailored for success in the UK. As the main creative contact in London, it will be the chosen candidate’s responsibility to ensure all design solutions that leave the studio are of the highest quality and are the best representation of the brand. This role has a focus towards digital and front end design, looking mainly at UI layouts, applying UX knowledge to ensure digital products are fit for purpose and user-centric. You will be responsible to managing relationships, both within the UK and abroad, leading creative communication and ensuring the best possible solution is met. Because of the office set up, it is important that you are comfortable working autonomously with little direction or supervision.
Whilst digital will be the primary focus of the role, there will also be an element of print design work to complete, from marketing material to content and posters. Our client are looking for a good all round Designer with strong conceptual abilities and the experience of working in a fast paced environment, producing the highest quality of work.
Skills & Experience
Our client are looking for an experienced Designer / Art Director with strong conceptual abilities who is able to have an overall say in the creative look and feel of all content throughout the UK, working closely with other creative teams around the world. The chosen candidate will have a high quality portfolio showcasing both digital and print work across both B2B and B2C environments.
Other skills include:
- Fully proficient in Adobe CS
- Highly conceptual, comfortable coming up with creative concepts and suitable solutions
- Experience across both print and digital executions
- Previous UI experience across web, mobile and apps
- Understanding of UX and user-centred designs
- Branding experience
- Previous background in branding or advertising
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial
- Video Experience with After Effects and Premiere Pro is also desirable
