Temporary Senior Graphic Designer Need! The senior graphic designer is expected to be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. You should be able to handle stressful situations, be self-motivated and have initiative to exceed expectations. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must (e.g., ability to navigate a variety of different work styles and processes). Ability to multi-task and work on many projects simultaneously is essential. The senior graphic designer will be a central part of the team and collaborate with the creative director to manage workflow and motivate junior designers to do their best work. A positive, energetic, flexible, can-do attitude is critical for this position.

MUST HAVES:
• Create innovative designs for each client from concept to delivery, following each deliverable through to production. Strong creativity is a must. Includes logo and program brand identity development.
• Maintain each client’s existing brand standards and work within those standards to develop evolving concepts.
• Manage small client projects with minimal supervision.
• Stay involved in every aspect of the design process on a daily basis from concept creation to incorporating minor text edits.
• Must be available to work after 5:00 pm, as needed. This is a must not a plus!

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• BFA or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Understanding of the printing/production process and a comfort level with communicating with printers
• Keen eye for detail, as well as a passion for achieving the highest quality in every deliverable
• Strong professional communication skills and demeanor
• Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with junior level designers
• Experienced and articulate when presenting designs and explaining the rationale behind concepts
• Ability to clearly communicate and represent the creative department when speaking with consultants in a corporate environment who may be unfamiliar with the design process
• Ability to clearly communicate with external clients on an as-needed basis
• Confidence to manage unpredictable situations and work flexibly to achieve resolutions
• Advanced understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite; specifically InDesign and Illustrator, some Photoshop (Mac CS5.5)
• Web experience and knowledge of new media preferred

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Work requires you to work onsite in Philadelphia.
• Overtime may be required.
• Duration of job is approximately 4-6 months potentially longer.
