Senior Customer Content Strategist

We are seeking a candidate with a background in content strategy and web production to join our expanding Digital Media Group. The Manager, Customer Experience Content Strategy will lead and manage the full lifecycle of development and implementation of on-line consumer marketing campaigns, promotions, content and customer experience optimization projects for our client. This role will be responsible for content planning and regular site updates, particularly related to technology, mobile web, support and customer self-care. The position will contribute to the development of our client's cross platform strategic direction with a focus on continuously improving and innovating for all our platforms, creating solutions that meet business goals, solving usability issues and keeping abreast of developing technologies.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Content Strategy, this role will collaborate and partner closely with the Product Development and Creative Teams within the Digital Media Group, management experience is a must.

Job Responsibilities
• Lead the discovery process on large projects and accurately scope projects, developing documentation that communicates the user experience, business strategy and best practices
• Build and coordinate a shared vision with multiple departments across organizations (including IT and business sponsors) to gain support for strategic initiatives and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders
• Create and maintain project schedules, track deliverables and establish priorities for self and direct reports
• Manage and develop dedicated team of employees and contractors
• Provide direction for customer content strategy team, graphic designers, copywriters and integrators through creative briefs and group meetings to help achieve site goals utilizing web best practices, clarify strategic requirements, explain complex ideas clearly and manage expectations
• Provide leadership in defining objectives and strategies for user experience and content
• Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions and communicate effectively in difficult situations
• Create and format web pages, using both a CMS and in HTML/CSS

Skills and Qualifications
• Prior experience (4-6 years) as an interactive content strategist/producer or directly related experience
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills including the ability to provide guidance to highly technical professionals, creative professionals and executive management
• Strong written & oral communication as well as presentation skills
• Strong knowledge of web development technologies
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• Sense of humor a must (Being geeky also a plus)
