Senior Creative

Senior Creative needed for an exciting agency based in South West/West London. As the successful applicant you will be a creative thinker on all levels including strategy and positioning for integrated marketing campaigns, for leading brands. As the successful candidate you must have the ability to interpret aims and objectives outlined in client briefs and deliver against them. You will have the skills to deliver your own work through using various software programmes and take responsibility for ensuring the design criteria is adhered too throughout all phases of creativity from concept to site.

The position requires involvement in different projects such as live events, corporate identity, strategic positioning of brands, exhibitions, displays, product launches and blue chip brand environments. As a Senior Creative you will have a high degree of autonomy but will also work as an integral part of a multi-talented Creative Studio including conceptualisers, copywriters, visualisers, CAD, 3D and multimedia. When developing solutions, the Senior Creative also interacts with other professionals in the agency: account managers, production and project management staff.

As the Senior Creative needs to generate concepts and create and deliver them for a wide range of briefs. This could be Opening Ceremonies on the world stage; a small portable exhibition stand; a marketing campaign or a high level government project. They also need to find innovative ways to answer client briefs.

Experience
Minimum of five to ten years’ experience in an equivalent role with at least two years as part of a Studio design team
Familiarity with the quality expectations and brand rigour of blue-chip clients such as the UK Government and FTSE100 private enterprises
Understanding of how large enterprises and multi-nationals reach out to specific, targeted audiences and diverse markets

Skills
Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
A keen eye for well-designed spaces and stylisation etc.
Have the ability to communicate ideas (sketch or draw) and present a clear vision of ideas and concepts to our internal stakeholders/clients
Confidence to present ideas in sketch format (or comparative software) whilst containing sufficient information regarding materials and manufacturing processes, for Project Managers to cost accurately.
Have a good knowledge, both cost effective and practical solutions with innovative manufacturing techniques to articulate the concepts and ideas effectively to clients, suppliers/contractors
Have excellent knowledge of what’s current in and around the design fields with a keen eye to what’s currently “trending” on social media in the world of design.
Occasionally the senior creative position will be asked to add their own descriptive copy to a creative brief and put into words “why & how “ you arrived at a final design solution.
Strong computer design skills: Illustrator, In-Design, Photoshop and familiarity with Adobe CS6 Suite
Basic computer literacy in essential office software: Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT
