Vitamin T has a great client seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter. The ideal candidate for this position will be emotionally mature, exceptionally intelligent and dedicated to the craft of copy writing. They will know how to make a sale through the clarity and brevity of their copy. They will be passionate about generating response in the most efficient way possible. They will understand that creativity is a means, not an end, and that it is better to communicate clearly and get a response than to create something unusual or clever that is less responsive. They will be well versed in the tactics of direct marketing copy and dedicated to constantly improving this expertise. They will be committed to delivering the highest level of personal dedication, performance and deportment.

Role:
• Write direct marketing copy for any and all clients and channels (interactive/online and print, direct mail, promotions and other non-traditional channels).
Responsibilities:
• Learn and implement Creative Platform guidelines.
• Write direct marketing copy for all clients and projects as directed by Associate Creative Director and Creative Director.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to identify questions and pertinent project information need to execute assignments.
• Know all pertinent industry, client, and product information, such as offer description, product features, product functionality, customer benefits, legal restrictions, etc.
• Meet all timelines and deliver copy for Creative Director and client review per project schedules.
• Create distinct copy executions which are substantially different from control packages or other solutions being submitted.
• Create well crafted copy, eliminating such things as repeated words within close proximity, incorrect grammar, illogical or untrue statements, non-sequesters, etc.
• Apply all fundamental writing requirements such as structure, logical sales order, effective introduction and closing, appropriate captions, correct footnotes, information accuracy, correct postal information, etc.
• Ensure copy, including legal, is 100% accurate.
• Help execute and maintain traffic and approval processes.
• Conducting research on specific projects and prospects, as needed, to enhance copy and create further opportunities with all clients.
• Maintain all creative files and back-up.
• Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external teams for the flawless execution and implementation of approved marketing projects/campaigns.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge of trends relevant to the industry.
• Contribute to proposal development, new business pitches and participate in brainstorming/planning sessions.
• Mentor and train junior creative team members.
