Senior Copywriter (Financial Services)

You’re a Senior Copywriter. You have the ability to switch brand voice to fit client needs in the blink of an eye. You enjoy telling your client’s brand story, whether in long-form or short, and are equally skilled at both. You have experience writing website and UX copy for financial institutions, a solid understanding of current web trends, and you want to add to your experience.

Our client is a major financial services firm in Orange County, and they are looking for you. While on this project, you will
• Write long-form financial copy including—but not limited to— blogs, articles, white papers, e-books, guides, speeches, brochures and more.
• Write B2B and D2C print copy for direct mail campaigns and initiatives.
• Concept and write advertising and marketing copy for landing pages, marketing emails, banner ads, text links, trade show collateral and social media.
• Work closely with internal business requestors and outside partners to help brainstorm and concept effective creative solutions.
• Be able to adapt tone and writing style to fit various brand style guidelines.
• Manage deadline-driven assignments, from kick-off to completion, while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the product and brand.
• Participate in creative discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Be prepared to hit the ground running, learn fast, ask questions and assert opinions in a professional and tactful manner.

As a great candidate, you should have 5+ years of copywriting experience with at least 3 in financial e-commerce, along with a degree in Advertising, Journalism, English, Communications, or related field. To be perfect, you should have knowledge of the financial services, data breach and identity protection industries, or other regulatory industries, such as insurance, healthcare or government.
