Senior Copywriter

The Senior Copywriter is a skilled copywriter, capable of producing high quality print and digital content for both inbound and outbound marketing efforts, including but not limited to direct marketing campaigns (email blasts, landing pages, mailings, online and print advertising, social media, etc.) and sales rep support tools. You will develop creative campaign concepts and the copy for those campaigns. This person will also be a key driver of a content-based marketing strategy that incorporates the voice of the customer on our website and in our sales collateral and will be responsible for developing an arsenal of case studies, white papers, and other content that supports our position as an authority in our key industry segments. This is an exciting position with leadership potential.

The Senior Copywriter responsibilities include:
- Working with Product Directors to understand our Unique Selling Propositions (USPs), Voice-of-the-Customer (VOC) research, competitive advantages, and go-to-market strategies to create compelling integrated marketing campaigns across both print and digital marketing
- Consistently working to better understand key customer segments and their pain points
- Lead brainstorming sessions with other members of the creative team in order to develop ideas for campaign concepts and visuals and ultimately, the copy itself
- Routinely writing and editing content for the company website, micro-sites, social media pages, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) ads
- Creating content that helps to further establish us as a thought leader in our key industry segments
- Establishing policies and processes for developing the industry’s best direct/interactive marketing programs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a record of achievement:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing copywriting, at least 3 of which has been in online marketing
- Strong copywriting skills and knowledge of principles for creating direct marketing and sales rep support tools
- Experience developing and using white papers, case studies, and testimonials to support integrated marketing programs
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must be collaborative and able to effectively prioritize and meet appropriate deadlines
- Strong presentation skills
- Experience writing and critiquing creative briefs and managing the full concept-to-launch process, a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in English, or other relevant major
- Agency experience, a plus
