This TOP Fortune 500 company, that specializes in tax software for small businesses, is seeking a Senior Marketing Content Design Copywriter to join the Marketing Experience Design team in their Small Business division for a 6 month contract. Salary: Up to $70/hr DOE.
Description:
We’re looking for a creative writer with an agile and inventive mind, someone able to iterate quickly and persuasively to come up with crisp, effective messaging in a space that's often strictly confined.
Our team supports the whole user experience—our fast-growing suite of SaaS services blurs the lines between shop, use, and buy. You’ll be working with a tight-knit team of designers, marketers, product managers, researchers, brand experts, other writers, and customer-facing teams on a variety of high-visibility projects. As a team you’ll create good workable concepts quickly, then iterate toward solutions that get business results. It’s important that you like working with others under time pressure to meet frequent deadlines.

Our mission is to help small businesses succeed by helping them solve problems, imagine possibilities, and get stuff done. What we create here must be engaging, easy to use, and effective at helping everyday people begin small businesses and run them successfully. You can see how important good, clear, persuasive communication is to our success, and theirs.

That's where you come in. Your focus will be on email and web marketing, but you’ll likely also have the opportunity to work on other kinds of projects. You'll be helping us define and maintain a consistent, engaging voice across a range of products and projects, so while knowledge of correct grammar and syntax is a given, superior creative writing skills and a sense of style is what we’re looking for.

We love rolling up our sleeves and moving fast to outpace the speed of the market and anticipate the needs of the small business owner. It's a fast-paced, energetic environment—we're constantly evolving smart and creative messaging to dramatically contribute to the success of our customers and our growth.
