Based: Peterborough

The Role:
The role holder will be responsible for providing internal communications support for the payment tool. The role holder will drive internal and external awareness of internal projects, often technical in nature, to ensure they are communicated to both internal and external stakeholders efficiently, clearly and in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be able to execute to a communications plan, working very closely with the implementation teams, advising on best practise, writing messages to create simple and compelling communications, and responding to the queries of both internal and external clients and cardholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Migration team as well as other internal teams, ensuring the internal and external comms plan is executed accurately
• Ensuring that complex, technical communications are turned into simple, compelling, actionable messages for previously segmented audience groups
• Prepare an execution plan for messages using a range of media to include but not exclusive to: e-mail, physical material, internal forums, intranet, message boards.
• Working with colleagues in Digital Marketing, develop and implement internal communications efforts including Access News, our internal newsletter to employees and stories and blogs for the broader Client’s audience
• Copywriting, maintaining and helping develop the right Tone of Voice in all communications, ensuring Access is represented effectively and accurately
• To work in partnership with Client’s Communications and relevant Human Resources teams where relevant in the preparation and execution of communications.
• Help arrange bi-weekly forums, working on the content of the presentations, ensuring they are appropriate for the target audience and that complex messages are conveyed simply and effectively
• Share best practices across Marketing and Product teams
• Management of the Migration inbox, responding and channelling queries as appropriate

Experience
• Previous business experience required, preferably in a marketing or communication function
• Previous project management and/or communications experience desired
• Knowledge of Prepaid Worldwide’s products and services beneficial but not essential
• Experience in copy-writing and proofreading required, as is a good creative eye
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related subject advantageous but not essential
• Ability to turn complex, often technical messages into simple to understand communications

• Ability to communicate across different organisational levels and different departments effectively and efficiently
• Strong team player
• Organized and efficient
• Comfortable working with senior management and representing Access to external customers and other partners
• “Can-do” attitude
• Good PC skills particularly in Microsoft PowerPoint , Word, and Excel
• Be adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
