Senior Brand Planner

Our reputable ad agency client is looking for a Senior Brand Planner to join their team.

Position Overview:
- discovering deep consumer insights, applying these across all communication’s channels
- working with the Creative/Account teams to develop campaigns
- Looking for an expert in solving this challenge and who will be responsible for the consumer relevance of the brand communication strategy

Responsibilities
• Creative brief writing and providing the ideal environment for creative development.
• Acts as the voice of the consumer.
• Applying insights to shape creative development and ideation.
• Translate strategy into action; taking communication plans beyond traditional media, understanding the consumer journey and the influence of the touch points along the
way
• Facilitate internal or client workshops, and/or ideation sessions as required
• Use a variety of market and research data to monitor cultural and social trends and their impact on consumers’ attitudes, behaviour and perceptions.
• Work in interdisciplinary teams (Strategy, Creative, Account Service) to develop, promote and deliver strategies that connect branding, marketing, promotions,
interactive, direct CRM, communications, PR and community-building disciplines.

Skills
• Demonstrated ability as a marketing communications professional and a reliable history
of working successfully with account and creative groups
• Understands the role of research and various methodologies
• Can manage many different projects with confidence.
• Manages relationships with creative team to ensure consistently strategically and correct
creative
• 5+ years account/brand planning experience
• Packaged goods experience
• Works on new business prospects as required
