Senior Art Director (eComm/Digital)

Lead and participate in the creative direction of the brand's website and its digital properties. Work with the web development team to create and optimize new web and mobile based customer experiences that reflect the brand DNA. Work with brand marketing and CRM teams to bring marketing campaigns visually to fruition. Develop graphical elements, emails, and design experiences for desktop and mobile. Oversee creative freelancers to ensure production work is on brand

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in digital design for major CPG brands. Beauty, Ecommerce, and luxury experience a plus.
· Experience working for a digital agency in a creative capacity a plus.
· A strong online portfolio that balances ecommerce and luxury displaying user-centric design.
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
· Deep knowledge of current web design trends and techniques
· Strong experience in email / online marketing campaigns and site enhancement initiatives
· Experience designing websites using technologies that conform to web 2.0 usability standards
· Attention to detail, capable of delivering design that is on brand with a consideration on KPIs for ecommerce success. I.e, conversion rate, click-through-rate, overall customer’s experience, etc.
· Ability to convey a luxury creative aesthetic while adhering to web usability best practices.
· Mobile / tablet design experience
· Knowledge of digital imaging and illustration with Adobe creative suite.
· Ability to work in a team and to communicate clearly.
· Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment that can have multiple sources of input
· Ability to delegate and oversee tasks assigned to creative services vendors and freelancers

Judgment and Decision Making:
The role will require strong time management, and prioritization skills. This position will use a balance of creative thinking with interpersonal skills as it will require a demonstrated ability to justify online structure, imagery and concepts to internal partners. The role will require strong time management, and prioritization skills. It will also require intermittent supervision to maintain a proper corporate direction and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
