The Sr. Art Director will work as part of the digital creative team to develop our client's digital marketing and promotional initiatives in a manner that is consistent with department strategies and objectives. The Sr. Art Director is responsible for the management and execution of design and production of visual elements for various platforms including .com, social media outlets, mobile, tablet, interactive television, digital advertising and other department initiatives that help position our client as a leader. Emphasis is placed on extending the brand tone and manner into new distribution platforms through the innovative application of emerging and evolving technologies.
The Sr. Art Director will work with the Creative Director, Marketing, Editorial, and Development teams to design and produce visual experiences to support online, mobile, social and interactive television initiatives. He/she will be responsible for:
Brainstorming and sharing ideas with the group in terms of practical user experience and design. He/she should feel comfortable coordinating with developers and editorial personnel to ensure technical feasibility of final products (10%)
Designing detailed wireframes outlining user flows/requirements, and presenting these to the group in a way that is easy to understand (40%)
Designing beautiful digital experiences as mapped out by wireframes (40%)
Spec-ing/delivering files to the Development team (5%)
Staying abreast of new production tools and technologies on an ongoing basis (5%)
