Senior Analyst - Digital Media Analytics

Aquent is currently in search of a Digital Media Analytics Senior Analyst for our Client in Metro Detroit, MI.  This full-time contract is an ongoing role that does require up to 10% travel.


The Senior Analyst, Digital Media Analytics will work in collaboration with and under the direction of the Director, Digital Media Analytics to provide media reporting and analysis. This will include reporting and visualization for digital advertising product performance and dealer media performance for executive reporting. This person will help us move forward in the area of digital as the focus shifts to immersive digital experiences, mobile, and social. 

​Duties / Responsibilities:

- Use a big picture perspective to seek / maximize total digital marketing return in overall digital media organization

- Understand the media buying process and optimization abilities

- Uncover the best reporting solution to meet business needs from a data, reporting, and decision-making perspective 

-  Devise key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop customized deep dive reporting for media optimization and partner evaluation 

- Build advanced visualizations using software such as Tableau, Domo, Qlikview or Datorama, and identify data relationships that bring together full consumer journey insights using data capture and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics 

- Provide guidance on site tagging structures and tagging strategies ensuring appropriate and accurate tracking and measurement 

- Validate and audit tagging accuracy against tagging specs and reporting specs 

- Mine data for underlying trends, consumer behavior patterns, and marketing triggers that drive business results 

- Drive the media and audience insights generation and optimization recommendations of programmatic initiatives that pertain to key dealer campaigns 

- Provide expertise in Omni-channel reporting, analysis and optimization identifying differing audiences and their needs throughout their journey; including Paid Search, Natural Search, Online Advertising, Websites and Social Media


- Bachelor's Degree is required

- Ad technology experience, preferably from a technology company, media agency, or a trading desk background

- Experience working with media planning teams to translate client objectives into actionable data applications through DMP relationship

- Understanding of dynamic content and media optimization tools such as: Google AdWords, DoubleClick, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Campaign, or Adobe Target 

- 3+ years relevant experience working in analytics, research or business intelligence, as well working in digital media/advertising, preferably related to automotive

- 2+ years experience creating rich dashboards/data visualizations and optimization recommendations 

- Experience in Alteryx, R, SAS or SQL Server ETL, a plus 

- Strong aptitude using reporting/analytic tools such as Tableau, QlikView, DOMO or Datorama
