Senior Account Manager

Our IT software client that focuses in the educational space is seeking a Senior Account Manager on a contract-to-hire basis. They are located in Palatine, IL (northwest suburb), but the person can work partial remote.

This person will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for one or more client institutions once an agreement is signed. As the primary account manager, this role is also responsible for growth and value realization within framework of the agreement.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, providing excellent account planning, customer service and outcome reporting throughout the launch and pilot phase to ensure the client’s continued rollout and scale-up of the client's platform post pilot which is essential in achieving all stakeholders impact and financial goals.

Required Skills:

• Proven ability to meet/exceed account goals by driving product usage across the enterprise using effective relationship building skills across internal constituencies
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient using state-of-art CRM tools/techniques and presentation apps
• Strong customer advocacy skills
• Ability to manifest and exemplify company’s brand values and culture to client stakeholders
• Knowledge of educational technology systems preferred
• Knowledge of RFP – driven procurement process preferred
