An exciting opportunity, within an established advertising agency in Melbourne, is now available for a switched, creative thinker, that’s ready to step into a senior management role!

Reporting into the Client Service Director, you will assist with managing an extensive brand portfolio , in particular fashion/retail.

As the successful Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing various innovative advertising campaigns, assisting with compiling and rolling out brand strategy, project management, creative and client management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing & mentoring junior staff members
• Prepare high quality briefs for the design/studio and finished art teams
• Developing successful brand identity campaigns for various consumer clients
• Create inspiring visual identity programs for national campaigns
• Assist with strengthening existing stakeholder relationships
• Tender and presentation writing/ co-ordination of pitches
• Prepare estimates and obtain approval from the GAD
• Plan and control studio time
• Monitor all jobs to client delivery
• Post campaign reporting

Skills required:

• An agency background in branding, advertising or design
• Knowledge of the pre-production process (print)
• Exceptional proof reading skills
• At least 5 years experience in the communications industry, working across a diverse range of projects and clients
• The ability to think through-the-line and work with clients to understand their communication objectives at both a strategic and creative level
• The ability to meet and exceed client expectations.
