Senior Account / Ad Operations Manager

This position is part Account Manager and part Ad Ops trafficker. The right candiate will have hands on Ad Ops experience with Ad Server technologies including demand side DSPs, and RTB. Candidates should be senior level. You can be a defining part of this new initiative as our client builds a new display advertising product.

This is an 8-month contract position based in Brisbane, CA. Candidates must be able to be on-site for the duration of the contract. While the client is a huge, well-known brand, this team is small and operates like a start up with in the larger company. Candidates must be able to thrive in an "early stage" environment.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop and recommend appropriate campaign strategies during the IO process, bringing insight from forecasting and past performance experiences
• Monitor daily campaign performance and optimize campaigns to ensure delivery and client return on investment.
• Consistently communicate campaign performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations with external sales agencies and account managers
• Initiate and manage inventory partner relationships
• Provide technical troubleshooting as necessary. Resolve technical implementation issues as they arise and resolve in a timely way to ensure high level of client satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with third party vendors as needed.
• Provide campaign expertise to external Account Managers, Sales Reps, and internal product teams

Minimum qualifications
• Ad Agency or Account Management experience in the online media space, including RealTime Bidding (RTB)
• Hands on campaign trafficking and optimization experience using Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Data Management Platforms (DMPs) or trading desks
• Experience managing campaigns on a variety of inventory sources ( direct, ad networks, RTB) on a variety of DSPs or standard ad serving platforms
• Familiarity with and ability to compile and analyze campaign data and metrics.
• Experience with A/B test strategies, multiple pricing models, targeting tactics, and ROI optimization strategies
