Sr. Account Executive
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the flawless execution of client projects. This position is critical; the Account Executive acts as the point of contact for the client and a conduit. This role impacts the profitability of the company and enables to meet its goals. For this particular opening we are hunting someone who is flexible about working on different clients as well as new business pitches. We are in growth phase and that means we are looking for team players willing to flex their marketing muscles on a variety of activities to grow with us.
Represents agency and develops agenda and presentation for kickoff meetings.
Interacts with client, identifies deliverables and determines scope of client project, i.e. kickoff date, objectives, timelines, expectations and project metrics.
Manages multiple client projects at once, for projects including development of videos, websites, app production, presentations, meetings, phone conferences, estimates, timelines, and project debriefs.
Creates aligned statement of work and estimates; ensures estimates are detailed and that out of scope items are properly communicated.
Determines overall scope of project(s) through marketing objectives and identifies project deliverables and milestones (i.e. kickoff date, objectives, timelines, costs, agency mark-up, client expectations and project metrics).
Ensures team receives all information, action items and delivery schedules in an organized fashion in order to facilitate the delivery of high impact work.
Ensures client success metrics are understood that and work needed to accomplish those objectives is accurately reflected in the project plan.
Communicates with client and provides project timeline and updated excel status report on a weekly basis.
Acts as conduit between client and creative team and provide information and feedback regarding needs and expectations.
Develops solid working relationship and functions as a trusted advisor and point of contact for the client.
Organizes team meetings and creates agenda.
Updates due dates and status information at the beginning of the week to keep project plans up to date and accurate.
Updates status board in the a.m. or at end of day to reflect updated information gained from client or team.
Verifies information and ensures excel spreadsheets are updated and accurate prior to sharing information with clients.
Ensures project initiatives are flawlessly executed.
Communicates budget modifications and risks to client on a proactive basis.
Finds opportunities to add client value; bringing great ideas in a compelling way.
Responds to client concerns in a timely fashion.
Brings errors, issues to the immediate attention of the Sr. Account Executive or supervisor.
Attains minimum profitability on production as prescribed by the agency.
Attains hours/ revenue balance as prescribed by agency.
Participates in creative strategy sessions and client presentations for new client pitches.
Understands available and appropriate marketing tools and tactics.
Follows standard job process as to ensure project timelines and details are executed flawlessly.
Conducts financial management practices including estimating time and costs and cost-to-date tracking.
Maintains and manages financial records for each job he or she works on.
Meets weekly with internal finance team, preparing routine and other requested job related financial information for the Account Supervisor.
Identifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to create efficiency
Forms strong working relationships within team.
Brings problems to the attention of the Account Supervisor; is willing to ask for help.
Supports leadership with special projects on as needed basis.
Completely and accurately records timesheet, expenses and various other defined processes.
Desired Skills & Experience
MUST HAVE at least two years marketing agency account experience.
Client service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the client.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills.
Strong knowledge and experience working in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
