Segment Marketing Analyst

Our client is seeking a consultant to join their team and provide analytical, market analysis and technical support to the Strategy & Marketing team. This consists of data analysis and delivery of insight on a wide range of internal and external based data sets needed to drive development of fact-based and insight-driven local market business plans. Success is measured by the quality, effectiveness and timeliness of data assembly, information analysis, insight generation and effective packaging of data to drive action. This junior role has the unique ability to be involved at the leading edge of a business transformation, moving to a localized approach in sales and marketing, and being able to learn the healthcare business from top to bottom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the team lead and two other analysts to build the annual local market FactBooks, which are comprehensive presentations that cover a variety of topics that help drive business in all segments
-Contribute to the design, development and production of the FactBooks
-Coordinate an effective rollout of the FactBooks to the many local markets across the US in the first half of 2016

•Manage all of the data needed for the FactBooks, Adhoc business requests and special projects
-Manage flow of data from critical internal and external data sources
-Create system for easy retrieval of most relevant information
-Initiate new ideas on how data analytics can be leveraged to create value in the field

•Support Segment Strategy and Marketing Planning on Adhoc business requests and special projects
-Extract, analyze, and package key market data (e.g., opportunity data, demographics, sales execution, network data, competitor info, producer share) on an as needed basis
-Interact/engage with Sales (Field Sales, Sales Effectiveness), Product, Campaign Management, and external strategic partners (consultants, research vendors, etc.)
-Assist with cross-segment marketing initiatives as necessary and serve as liaison with other Segment Marketing teams on market insight and analysis projects
