Seeking Web Content Writer/Strategist, Who Writes To Sell!

Imagine…you are the online strategist behind the inner workings of our Major Retailer’s web content.

In this six month contract (which could possibly extend longer) you will step up immediately to contribute
as a key member of the UX & Creative team

· Develop content strategy based on both business objectives and customer needs
· Determine projects' overall content requirements and potential content sources (existing, original, 3rd party)
· Help establish process to assess, curate and organize content
· Make recommendations based on context, customer need and business and communication strategies
· Assign and track content development
· Lead the way when creating content management, workflow and maintenance processes
· Be an advocate for Search Engine Optimization best practices
· Help develop and enforce brand tone and voice guidelines along with Creative Directors
· Edit content and enforce style guidelines as needed
· Exhibit passion for quality customer experiences and calculated decision-making when
it comes to selecting content that informs, entertains, inspires and helps customers
take action (buy, research, like, share, etc.)


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as English, journalism, advertising, or communications
3-5 years experiences in online content strategy
5+ years experience developing or managing Web or other digital content preferably in the fields of marketing, e-commerce, interactive marketing, and/or retail
5+ years e-commerce experience
Working knowledge of usability pri.
