Search Engine Marketing Manager

The SEM manager.analyst will lead all paid online advertising efforts for our 40+ online clients. That includes PPC (Google and Bing), display, retargeting, RTB, Facebook, paid directories, etc.
(At the moment, we have plenty of SEO and general marketing talent on our team. This position is for a paid search specialist.)
You will be responsible for creating and managing all campaigns. You will also be in charge of strategy, e.g., determining offers, landing pages, headlines, etc. You'll need to optimize for conversions, not merely good quality scores or CPCs.
Ideally, you will know basic HTML, and be able to also create landing pages (write or art them). You will work closely with our internal team of designers, SEOs, social media and writers.
If you already master various software packages, e.g., to manage bids, create landing pages, or report results, we will get you what you need.
You will be supported by our eager-to-learn junior level PPC person, but this position is very much hands on for now. Over time, we are looking for a leader who can help us grow and scale the department.

Desired Skills:

Ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of actual experience preferably within an agency. In addition to interfacing with the account management and design team, this candidate will work directly with clients, reporting results and determining optimization strategies. Position will be daily, full time, onsite employment in Irvine Ca required.

Skill set should include project management, organization, client communication, thought leadership and expertise in SEM account design and management, as well as an overall interest in contributing to the team and a make-it-happen attitude.
