Search Engine Manager

The Search Engine Manager is responsible for the management of a paid search budget, including price-per-click (PPC) and display campaigns, for the Consumer segment within Dell Canada. The successful candidate will manage agency/partner relationships, perform campaign analysis and make recommendations, and report on all performance metrics for the program. This role will also include managing other online demand generation efforts as new opportunities arise and working with other Digital Marketing leaders on the team.

Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

-Develop and implement all PPC and display campaigns
-Track, monitor and optimize campaigns and landing page experiences
-Management of forecast, traffic and performance metrics on a daily, weekly and quarterly basis
-Track competition and update team on industry trends
-Monitor and track results on other marketing communications as they relate to search
-Preparation of weekly presentation of results and actions
-Work closely with agency partners to develop campaigns, analyze data and optimize results
-Manage Quarterly Business Reviews given by agency and Google
-Work closely with search engine optimization (SEO) Lead on Global team to improve natural rankings/results in conjunction with PPC campaigns
-Build relationships with key global colleagues. Facilitate timely transfer of globally driven information and strategies to Dell Canada team members.
-Drive alignment with global and U.S. strategies.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
-Undergraduate degree (preferably with a focus in Marketing) and 6-8 years of relevant work experience or Graduate degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience.
-5+ years of Marketing experience with 1-2 years of Search Engine Marketing experience.
-Proficiency with Google Adwords (Certification preferred) and Microsoft AdCentre (Bing)
-Very strong analytical skills and financial acumen
-Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work well under pressure
-Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
-Ability to lead agency relationships
-Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships and collaborate with others
-Ability to deal with ambiguity
-Customer-centric
-French written and verbal skills would be an asset
