Our client is seeking an Advertising Account Manager to work within the company's gaming console brand to focus in the key markets within UK, France and Germany to ensure that they are focusing in the correct manner to capture the demand.

The Ideal candidate:
They will have worked within a similar role previously and will be a specialist in search with a focus on Media, web and companies own sites. They will be technical and analytical with a strong set of project management skills
They will have managed 3rd parties and have excellent excel and reporting skills being able to paint a picture with the data. They will also have a 2nd language in French or German.

The four key skills are:

- Strong technical and analytical background
- 2nd Language

They will have excellent comms skills, be collaborative and excellent at building relationships with internal stakeholders. They will be working with a global team so need to be positive and clear in their approach and be prepared to work autonomously.
This role will start ASAP and will run until the end of June 2014


Role Purpose

My client is looking for an Search Engine Account Manager to manage Paid Search Engine Marketing in EMEA.
If you have strong analytical skills, can demonstrate success within the field of Paid Search and digital media, have solid communications skills, as well as a strong ability to manage projects across teams and functions, you are the candidate we are looking for.
We are looking for a highly motivated and strong performer to help deliver strong Paid Search Engine Marketing Campaigns in EMEA.
This position is a part of the International Media team that is dedicated to providing regional and local market media expertise for our global advertising campaigns across EMEA, APAC and LATAM. This team is part of the Central Marketing Group’s broader Media and Agency Management team.
This position will report into an IMT Media Manager and EMEA Group Media Manager, and will be based in London with limited travel between Victoria and Reading.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, you will be an SE (Search Engine) discipline expert driving planning and implementation of Paid Search Campaigns across several key EMEA markets, ensuring alignment to Global SEA Campaign Goals.
You will be the primary contact for SEA AOR in EMEA markets, working closely with IMT leads across markets, as well as local and EMEA subsidiary business groups, Corp HQ and EMEA Digital teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Governance and management of SEA global agency of record (AOR) in EMEA markets
• Manage the relationship with the SEA global agency of record (AOR), and major search engines to continuously monitor and optimize search efforts
• Financial management of Paid Search Budgets (including IO, PO management and ownership, forecasts, accruals, billing and invoicing)
• Local Tactical Planning: Drive local Paid Search plans for key EMEA markets
• Ensure integration of Paid Search into overall media planning.
• Manage KW and ad copy localization process based on master KW list provided by Corp BG HQ.
• Drive local search innovation and ensure that search plans in funded SEA markets align to goals and objectives outlined in Global SEA Strategic Guidance Documents.
• Partner with Corp BG HQ to ensure Paid Search is implemented according to Global Guidance.
• Day-to-day management & optimization: Own day-to-day management of paid search and demand gen for the Cloud OS marketing team in the US.
• Monitor, test and optimize in order to expand campaigns and increase effectiveness.
• Partner with AOR and analytics lead to conduct keyword research and analysis - build keyword lists, analyze search volume and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with advertising, website and social leads to ensure strong integration and coordination with other marcom efforts on an ongoing basis.
• Manage reporting, also aligned with other media reporting, for local and EMEA stakeholders.
• Publish executive summaries of search reports, test results, and strategic insights.
• Partner with Web Site lead on:
o Applying site tagging with Kenshoo pixel or OmnitureCIDs fee
o Selecting and providing proper landing page given KW/ad copy/ and KPIs
o URL development and distribution to Reprise for search planning/execution

Essential Experience for the role:

• Ideal candidate will have a proven background in digital media and marketing experience, with working knowledge of Paid Search Engine Marketing Campaign Management.
• Solid and demonstrable understanding of SEO best practices. Candidates’ daily vernacular should include words like: SEM, SEO, SEA, SERP, CPC, CPA, geo-targeting, quality score, spider.
• One or more SEM certifications: Google Adwords Certified, adCenter Excellence Certified, or SEMPO Search Marketing Certification.
• Experience delivering successful global search marketing campaigns, and familiarity with digital and search for the various EMEA markets (ideally with focus on key markets: UK, FR, and DE).
• Strong analytical capabilities including media optimization, analytics and measurement experience necessary.
• Strategic digital media understanding
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Strong cross group collaborator with ability to structure, oversee, and execute complex projects across multiple stakeholders.
• BA/BS in communications, marketing or related discipline required
• A second language (either French or German) preferred.
