Job Description: ********WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SEARCH EDITOR************ 

This team is responsible for setting up new experiences for the .com site. They are responsible for partnering with vendors to create an experience for online customers; collaborating with other groups to enhance the online experience. 

Great candidates will: 
-Have worked in Search, specifically e-commerce 
-Experience working in either editorial or merchandising role 
-Companies such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook all procure this role under: Curation Expert, Search Quality Expert, Search Editor etc. 

Schedule: M-F team is in around 8:30-9am-5/6pm No OT anticipated;

Whenever a customer visits a site worldwide and types in a query or browses through product categories,  Search services go to work. We design, develop and deploy high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed search systems used by millions of customers everyday.

The Search team is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, detail-oriented Search Editor to help enrich the Search experience for millions of customers. 

This role will be responsible for creating content, editing, and providing QA for the search customer experience. You must have first-class written and verbal communication skills to create delightful, useful and engaging content. Additionally, you must be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities, with high attention to detail, in a fast-moving environment. You will work cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, marketing managers, and software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a healthy appetite for new technologies; will be innovative, internally motivated, self-directed, and willing to help develop top-notch experiences on a deadline to achieve business objectives.

Basic Qualifications 

At least 5 years of experience within the search domain. 
Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field. 
At least 5 years of experience creating customer-facing content, such as copywriting and editing. 
At least 5 years of experience in project management, leading multiple projects. 
preferred skills 

Preferred Qualifications 

Excellent writing and editing skills. 
Strong creative and conceptual thinker. 
Professional experience writing content for e-commerce, technology brands or marketing copy. 
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. 
Ability to work across multiple teams. 
Commitment to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge. 
Background in script writing is a plus. 
Personal initiative, flexibility, intellectual curiosity.
