Search Advertising Manager

Seeking Search Advertising Manager to support ongoing management and implementation of Google AdWords and Bing Ads client accounts. Manager works directly with Hey agency and is non-client facing. Manager is responsible for implementing advertising strategies in search advertisng campaigns, conducting keyword research, writing ad copy, ongoing management, making informed optimizations and knows how to test ad tactics to increase performance.

Manager should be proactive, keeping up to date with search engine algorithm and ad platform releases plus industry trends to keep ads and keywords performing well. Manager should be technically adept with Analytics as well and be able to setup Google Tag Manager accounts, link to Analytics and properly setup tags, triggers and goals.

Manager should be a self-starter, motivated and able to efficiently use the allocated hours for this contract. Manager will work remotely, but can come in for status meetings. Free lunch on Fridays. Great team at Hey to work with, primarily engaging with Digital Strategist and Media Director. Big growth trajectory for the company.

Contract terms:
- Start date: immediate
- End date: open ended
- Requirement of 36-70 hours of support per month
- Requirement for weekly status calls during standard business hours
- Requirement for response to agency questions within 24 hours
- Location, works remotely using own equipment

Requirements for any applicant:
- Business license (e.g. sole proprietor) or 3-5+ years of freelance full-time experience
- Current certifications: Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Bing Ads
- 4+ years managing AdWords (and Bing Ads) search advertising accounts
- 2+ years managing AdWords Shopping Campaigns
- English as a native language; ability to write persuasive, keyword relevant ads
- Experience building search advertising accounts from scratch, ongoing management and optimization
- Experience managing search advertising for a variety of industries, particularly E-Commerce, B2B services and Healthcare
- Advanced knowledge of digital analytics, particularly Google Tag Manager setup, adding in pixels for multiple digital advertising media, creating accurate tags and triggers for a multitude of goals (e.g. page scroll %, video % watched, files downloaded, forms submitted, products added to cart and sold, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of goal setup using reg expression and java scripts
