Vitamin T – THE agency for digital creative talent and the companies that love them is seeking a Director, Business Development for our Boston office! The purpose of this role is to grow and develop a thriving creative staffing business by working with the local recruiting team to actively pursue new and rejuvenated business with our clients through calls, meetings, and proactive marketing.

This is a Boston based role with Metro-Boston based clients and a full staff of local recruiting support focused on Mid-Market and Ad Agency clients. Did we mention our office is on the Boston Marathon finish line?


Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of clients through developing relationships & cross-selling all Creative and Online Marketing talent offerings to multiple buyers.
• Generate high number of new and repeat orders by calling clients to ask for business and delivering fanatical customer service as we learn how we can help them
• Work collaboratively with the recruiting team to keep and maintain an “A-List” Creative Talent pool and promote them to clients through calls and proactive marketing
• Leverage the subject matter expertise of the recruiting team to uncover client opportunities by “digging deep” on their creative needs.
• Actively participate and network with professionals within the design community to stay on top of industry trends
• Respond with remarkable speed and quality to incoming client requests while working hard to proactively find work for Talent on an ongoing basis
• Exceed customer and internal expectations by providing daily communication and creative solutions to problems and bringing a can-do attitude


Critical Competencies:
• Active in current/relevant online communities and social networks. We utilize Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, et al. in our business daily.
• Business development experience with staffing or experience selling services (versus products) is ideal.
• Knowledge of the Creative field (digital or graphic design) is ideal.
• Highly self-directed, intuitive & innovative
• Organized and dedicated to customer service
• Outstanding problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Articulate, persuasive and adaptive
• Desire to do what it takes to win business and help others – a hunter’s instinct is key.
• Able to quickly establish and maintain client relationships by building a network of contacts across a wide variety of clients
• Confident and tenacious closer – I won’t take NO for an answer!
