Reports to: Commercial Sales Director


The role is within a division that is responsible for non-theatrical sales in over 70 international territories on behalf of a number of major studios.

This division is the market leader in non theatrical distribution based on its unrivalled combination of programming assets which includes:

• A library of over 8,000 feature films
• New release feature films from Warner Bros., Sony, BVI, UIP, Fox, Pathe, MGM, Entertainment and Icon etc
• Major TV shows and cartoon classics for non-theatrical distribution

Primary Purpose of Position

• Identify new business opportunities to sell the current and library product represented by my client to hotel and airline sectors across international territories in order to maximise the revenue on a sustainable basis.

Essential Job Functions include:

• Putting sales deals together for the Hotel and Non Theatrical business
• Developing and executing the sales strategy in conjunction with the Commercial Sales Director and General Manager
• Preparing the annual forecast in conjunction with the Commercial Sales Director
• Working with the Legal and Business Affairs teams to ensure deals are properly contracted and observed
• Valuation of new revenue opportunities (including due diligence, modelling, market analysis) working with Finance Director and Senior Sales Analyst
• Account management to ensure full after sales support to key accounts – working with the Sales Servicing Team
• Preparation and presentation of monthly sales reports
• Identifying 3rd party technology/new media partners and evaluating opportunities

Competencies

• Proven sales record in a media sales organisation, preferably within the TV / Digital distribution / mobile industry
• New technology/new media knowledge useful
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail – must be analytical
• Exceptional/confident interpersonal communication skills essential
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• An enthusiastic, self–motivated committed team player

Education
• Graduate level preferred
