Sales Training Lead (Instructional Designer)

The Sales Training Lead will provide leadership and day to day tactical management for the development and implementation of field training in support of of our client's vision and strategic direction. Originates, prepares and writes curriculum to meet the training and education needs of the field and internal sales and marketing partners, covering such topics as consultative sales, product, sales/marketing best practices, business process, agents' growth plan and coaching. Designs materials and programs and provides technical input regarding their design to assure educational validity. Recommends implementation strategies, controls, and tests to measure curriculum effectiveness.

Develop and execute a training plan that will provide best-in-class field training for field and sales/marketing business units.
Provides technical expertise/input in designing training programs and materials and in establishing controls and measures for the effectiveness of the programs and materials.
Analyzes, evaluates, and researches training activities.
Follows-up with management and classroom participants to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and educational programs; makes recommendations for new or improved training methods in accordance with findings.
Identifies specific areas of deficiencies in overall business results and implements corrective training programs.
Champion the selection, customization, roll-out, training, and ongoing update for needs-based selling that professionally addresses customer-centric and agent-powered tools and resources offered by our Client in coordination with business units and training department.
Leads the creation and preparation of materials for training and educational programs, clinics, seminars, home study, and other educational techniques for use by all levels of field personnel, including agents, CSRs, DMs, Life Reps, DMMs, and SEDs, along with internal business units and partners to sales and marketing including Underwriting, Operations, and business units and training department.
Assists in planning and execution of multi-media training and direct programs.
Develop and execute a strategic plan that will provide best-in-class support for product roll-out and revision.
Designs training/seminars to support product expansion/introduction.
Conducts train the trainer classes for field trainers and oversees execution of field training; delivers pre-determined training modules to employees. Provides spot training as evaluated.
Manages training logistics both internally and externally.
