Sales Operations Specialist

This TOP social media company head-quartered in Menlo Park, Ca is looking for a Sales Operations Specialist to join their gaming division for a 6 month contract. Location: Menlo Park, Ca Pay: Up to $34.40/hr DOE

Duties:
Oversee the execution of product pre- and post-launch through end-of-life sales operations activities, including retailer system item setup, product asset distribution and processing of incoming requests and issues from retail partners
Create and manage UPCs for finished goods, refurbished goods and promotional items
Assist the Sales & Marketing teams by updating customer systems, processing orders, creating presentations and compiling reports as necessary
Resolve outstanding account and operational issues in a timely manner by working with our internal teams and partners
Ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines and accuracy of Oculus-provided assets and materials
Partner with IT and other teams to build and enhance our internal systems around processes such as order management
Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with the appropriate stakeholders to implement these
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales or equivalent
3-5 years of work experience in a sales, operations or marketing environment, ideally with an industry focus on consumer electronics or technology
· Well versed in Excel and PowerPoint as well as relevant financial systems such as Oracle and vendor retailer item setups such as Amazon's Vendor Central
· Ability to manage intense workloads with short timeframes
· Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask
· Effective at building strong relationships with people across all levels of the organization
· Excellent communication skills
