Sales Operations - Global Functions

This TOP social media company (head-quartered in Menlo Park, CA with offices in New York) is seeking a highly quantitative, driven, process oriented and creative Sales Operations Associate who will serve as a member of their core Sales Operations team through partnerships with key stakeholders in the organization. The role will be part of the Global Sales Operations group, with a focus on global sales and/or creative teams. The primary focus of the Associate position will be working with cross-functional groups to evaluate advertising business performance, improve efficiency through automation, and lead product adoption and revenue opportunity analysis to identify short and long term growth opportunities . The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, interested in advertising, intellectually curious, a fast learner, and able to move fast while keeping focused on high impact projects. This position is located in New York.

Salary: Up to $41/hr DOE


1) Business analysis and reporting:

- Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth

- Analyze key business trends including revenue, product adoption and cost metrics

- Support sales teams with planning and operational tasks

2) Strategic projects:

- Drive operational excellence in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business

3) Automation and efficiency:

- Focus on continuous improvement of core projects through automation and process enhancement

- Project manage the development of centralized tools that Sales teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner

- 3+ years work experience in a quantitative field or equivalent educational experience (entry-level candidates would be okay if they have the necessary Excel skills)

- Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets

- Strong interpersonal skills with Demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences

- ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment

- Advanced Excel (must know pivot tables, vlookups, and index match)

- SQL experience is great, but NOT required

- Prior experience with online advertising preferred
