Sales Incentive Program Strategy Contractor

One of our valued Fortune 500 financial service clients is in need of an onsite freelance/contract professional for a one year contract position. This qualified candidate will be someone who has experience designing and implementing Sales Incentive Programs for a new nation-wide ‘financial solutions’ initiative. This role supports the Reporting Insights and Incentive Strategy Team and reports to the Senior Manager, Strategy and Business Operations.

Responsibilities:
• Work with Field Leadership Team to assess the effectiveness of the company’s existing Incentive Plan and provide strategy and redesign direction for the company’s rapidly expanding sales organization.
• Build an Incentive Payout Forecasting Model by analyzing historical data in the sales channel and testing this against various hypothesis
• Devise an Incentive Communication Plan and oversee the communication of the plan to the Sales Field, e.g. execute the new Sales Incentive Program and develop Sales Training Communications Material.
• Conduct analytics on in-year performance and incentive payouts, and build a model to forecast remaining in-year payouts
• 80% interactive with other Team members, 20% independent

• Is analytical, loves numbers and can see patterns in data.
• Has a keen attention to detail
• Understands sales psychology and the relationship between company strategy and incentive plan design
• Can translate difficult to understand data into intuitive, self explanatory slides
• Is comfortable presenting ideas to senior management
• Knows how to have fun – this group loves what they do, has a relaxed but still professional work style
