If you are, then this could be the right role for you. You would be working on the program which is the fun way to learn This Top Software Company's product. It’s revolutionizing the way people learn and energizing, activating, and expanding our incredible community. This Program helps up-skill sales teams by presenting them with a series of guided learning 'trails' that break up content into small, digestible bites. It's modular, social and gamified. And most importantly, it's fun...and a little bit weird.

We are in search of an outstanding editor who is truly passionate about content that is high quality, engaging and motivates our global sales teams. You will work with a group of quirky and fun writers to uplevel content and make sure it stays true to the spirit of the program, while keeping a tone that resonates with our sophisticated sales audience. You will collaborate closely with our stakeholders to help shape content and define release schedules.

This is NOT a copy or line editor job. This is a challenging role for someone with extensive sales enablement experience, who is an exceptional writer and editor, and is passionate about helping people learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use your extensive knowledge of sales enablement to shape the content and coach writers to get the structure, voice, and tone right;
Bring a deep understanding of our learners, and be able to put yourself in the mind of the learner to create incredible, fun, aspirational, relevant content;
When needed, write content from the ground up, working closely with writers, product managers, internal stakeholders, and external subject matter experts in the process;
Manage content development from start to finish, from the initial outline to the finished product, through rounds of edits and revisions;
Develop sales personas and be the champion of our voice and tone across all content types
Evaluate all trail ideas in context of a full content strategy
Collaborate with graphic producers and release management to run our content development process end to end for all sales content
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, leadership and judgment;
Be accountable to meet all deadlines.

SKILLS:

Innovative and creative writer and editor, unafraid to take risks;
Thoughtful coach and communicator;
Minimum 5 years professional writing and/or editing experience;
Minimum 5 years hands-on experience using, administering, or developing with Salesforce;
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment on a fast-growing team;
Knows how to balance high standards for quality with the need to get to market fast.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Experience with sales enablement;
Experience with education technology;
Experience with instructional design;
Experience with Agile methodologies and principles;
Experience working in a startup environment.
