Sales Coordinator

We're working with a global Education industry client to find a Sales Coordinator to join their team!

Start Date: ASAP
Location: Onsite at our client's office in Irving
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 35 per week
Rate: Up to $15/hr DOE

Responsibilities
- Building sales relationships with customers, Account Executives, Curriculum Specialists and District Managers.
- Identify and resolve issues. Initiate new processes so the same issues don’t pop up again.
- Raise the bar by corresponding to inquiries regarding price information and product availability faster and more efficiently than competitors can, making our client the top choice in customer service.
- Process and track sample requests using Socrates. Don’t know this system? Don't worry, our client will teach you.
- Give away samples to highlight our client's product line.
- Spearhead support for workshops by organizing and preparing cutting edge presentation materials, in-service materials, invitations, mailings, and other cool special projects as needed.
- Prepare cost proposals, literature, catalogs, and exhibit supplies that will directly impact the success of field staff.
- Become an invaluable resource by attending product trainings, growing your personal knowledge and educating others on our client's world class products and services.
- Get involved in office meetings to establish priorities regarding regional projects, assignments, and goals for the month.
- Educate the management team regarding key projects, assignments, and goals

Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a publishing sales support highly desirable.
- 2-3 years marketing and/or office administrative experience in a sales support environment.
- College or business school graduate or equivalent administrative experience in a sales support environment; preferably in a publishing environment.
- A professional yet friendly customer service attitude.
- Excellent Computer Skills, with strong Microsoft Office skills; desktop publishing skills experience a plus.
- Ability to handle several assignments at once.
- Outstanding organizational and prioritizing skills with top notch oral and written communication skills.
- Works well with minimum supervision but loves to collaborate in a team environment.
- Positive, can-do attitude!
