Sales Associates Needed at Yorkdale Mall

*All Candidates MUST be available for 40 hours/week and open to flexible shifts between the hours of 7am- 10pm, including weekends. Shorter hours on Sun- 11-8.

Primary Functions:
- Phone Activations
- Inventory Runner
- POS- ringing up customer purchases and processing at Point of Sale machines
- Answering the store phone
- Greeting customers arriving and departing from the store
- Perform Demos for cutting edge Game Systems

Additional skills and experience:

- Must have previous retail background
- Superior in person customer service skills
- Ability to work well with other team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Phone activation experience strongly preferred

Job Summary:
The Product Advisor is the ultimate provider of extensive product knowledge and sales support based upon each customer’s unique needs, both before and after the sale. Serve as a friendly and insightful primary point of contact for our customers. Deliver an amazing customer experience every time.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

 Acquire and maintain an elite level of product knowledge in all retail products and service offerings.
 Be the in-store example of the company vision of the long term customer relationship.
 Provide customized solutions to ‘new’ purchasers that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
 Collaborate with corporate and field team members in the development of the necessary tools and programs that will lead to long-term relationships with elated customers.
 Flawlessly execute the sales and service strategies of the Retail organization.
 Engage, Educate, Excite, and Empower both customers and team members alike.
 Smile, have fun, work hard and achieve success.
 Performing Phone Activation
 Completing sales transactions with POS

Additional Skills and Abilities required:

• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Team player and ability to get along with others.
• Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic, public facing environment.
• Lifting with or without assistance (loading and unloading all those great products and carrying purchases out for our customers may be required!
• Must be able to work your regularly scheduled shift
Must be able to be mobile throughout the store

Minimum requirements:
 Superior Customer Service skills.
 2 years previous retail sales experience.
 Passion for consumer products and technology.
 Prior experience selling technology preferred.
 Teaching or training experience is a plus.
