Sales Associate

The Partner Sales Executives (PSE) are responsible for business and sales development with the Partner channel. As a Sales Associate you will work directly with 5 PSE’s to assist in the management of their partners sales activities.


Role Purpose:

1. Be a ‘Trusted Advisor’ to each of your Partner Sales Executives which includes;
a. Being a subject matter expert for all relevant reports, business processes and key performance indicators (KPIs).
b. Driving partner communications on behalf of Partner Sales Executives
c. Providing insights on pipeline management including:
i. Pipeline coverage
ii. Territory planning
iii. Pipeline Health
d. Assisting with revenue recognition activities to ensure transactions are properly processed and reported
e. Assisting PSE’s a true-up and new revenue sales motion across LSP partners
f. Being the point of contact for authorization letters and licensing position requests.



Key Accountabilities:

• Sales– utilize a variety of internal tools and programs to update and verify opportunity, pipeline and partner information.
• Research – find relevant, customer consumable info as required such as References, case studies and white papers. Provide follow up to customer requests as directed by the Account Manager.
• Tool Support – access and use several internal software tools to find information and provide reports.
• Administrative Support – calendaring for customer engagements (book meetings, coordination of resources), coordinate customer follow up activities.
• Partner Engagement – Inside sales support addressing customer service requests, reaching out proactively to partner as part of a territory plan defined by the Account Manager and assisting with ad hoc requests from the field.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

1) Experience
 Previous sales experience is an asset
 Strong Business acumen
 Knowledge of the software market and software sales
 Ability to communicate and translate between business needs and analysis conclusions

2) Technical / Functional Skills
 Proficient in Office Suite
i. Excel
• Key focus on pivot tables
• Experience dealing with large data sets
ii. Word
iii. OneNote
iv. Powerpoint
 Prior exposure to a Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) is an asset

3) Personal Attributes / Interpersonal Skills
 Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
 Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
 Strong problem solving abilities


Education
• Post-secondary degree required
