Sales Assistant

PURPOSE:
• Support Company efforts within the Western Canadian accounts, specifically, Future Shop, Best Buy Canada, London Drugs and Amazon through analysis, tracking, marketing and merchandising activities to achieve revenue objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support in the execution of account specific retail marketing programs
• Maintain master list of ad plans for commercial software, hardware and gaming business
• Communicate programs, ad plans and in-store expectations to broader team(s)
• Compile and present account performance reports using Sales queries and spreadsheet tools
• liaise with retail services and retailer merchandising teams in the communication of assortment and planogram revisions, as well as merchandising initiative implementation of partner satisfaction with West Coast accounts buying and inventory teams
• Maintain latest Store Listing and planned New Store Openings on E&D websites and with appropriate teams
• Track, measure and document results of marketing executions, promotional activities and product launches to determine effect on sales targets, incremental revenue achieved and return on investment
• Report and update monthly share and sales data to Company and West Coast account teams
• Liaise with product groups and other teams to leverage on-line and in-store marketing content
• Assist in organizing vendor trade shows and training events and take on special projects as assigned by Sales Director and/or Partner Account Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post-secondary degree
• Demonstrated financial accounting skills
• Strong cross group collaboration and relationship skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
• Excellent planning skills and a strong results orientation
• Technology enthusiast – PC and Gaming background an asset
