Sales Assistant

High level responsibilities:
• Manage investment funds process – manage documentation, follow up on execution and timelines, ensure deadlines are met and payments complete, report back on status

• Marketing – helping with regional events, both coordination and event registration. Includes customer calling to confirm event attendance and post event follow up regarding potential opportunities and customer requests

• Research – find relevant, customer consumable info as required such as References, case studies and white papers. Provide follow up to customer requests as directed by the Account Manager

• Tool Support – access and use several internal software tools to find information and provide reports

• Administrative Support – calendaring for customer engagements (book meetings, coordination of resources), coordinate customer follow up activities

• Customer Engagement – Inside sales support addressing customer service requests, reaching out proactively to customers as part of a territory plan defined by the Account Manager and assisting with ad hoc requests from the field.

Culture of team:
Independent team. Need to be self-motivated. There is always more to do if you want more.

Must have skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
• Office skills, especially Outlook and Excel – in particular Pivot Table experience is an asset

Educational and Industry Background:
• Post-secondary degree required
• Sales Support experience in IT industry preferred but not required
