One of our innovative Fortune 500 financial service clients who specializes in Financial Global Travel Related and Financial Services, and was voted the “Best Company To Work For” is looking for a Sales Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis (5 months, 40 hours a week in the DC Metro area to include Chevy Chase MD, Rockville, MD, Silver Spring, MD, Aspen Hill, MD, Bethesda, MD and DC downtown or DC North West).

Job Description:
• This valued candidate will have sales, telemarketing, and reporting analytics capabilities and will be comfortable making calls to merchants and suppliers.
• Provide analytical, customer service, and telemarketing/sales calls to support reporting and tracking requirements; address information gaps by gathering information and providing insightful analytics
• Work closely with manager in the telemarketing/sales calls and analytics and participate in the evaluation of processes and making suggestions for process and system improvements.
• The Sales Assistant will be a member of the team that is responsible for the overall strategy development, implementation and management of the “Stream Early Pay initiative” whose objective is get as many merchant/suppliers to accept “Early Pay”. Once vendor elects to get paid earlier than their standard payment terms, this client will charge a small, flat fee. The Team works closely and partners with several groups to communicate, educate and engage employees to ensure support of the “Early Pay” initiative.
• The Sales Assistant will also assist the day-to-day telemarketing and customer service tasks by conducting calls, internet research, tracking and recording findings. This valued contractor will deliver a complete data set consisting of sales calls results, contact information updates, and any other general research in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
• Sales Background Helpful. BA or BS in Business and some knowledge of customer service, analytics, sales, marketing and systems, preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of business analysis and project planning experience including strong analytical, problem solving, written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively across several cross-functional teams and all levels of the organization.
• General knowledge of the overall procurement practices, accounting/accounts receivables policies and procedures with knowledge of effective techniques for maintaining sound relations with suppliers and end-user community.
• Must be able to manage and execute small/medium projects and have strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Internet Chrome and Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate meetings and effectively hold telephone calls for the purposes of informing and collecting information.
